Josh proposed to Katie at Nauset Beach in Orleans this past September (one of my favorite spots on Cape Cod!). Katie grew up visiting the outer Cape with her family, so experiencing such an exciting milestone there was nothing short of meaningful.
For their engagement photos, they chose a location that is both beautiful and sentimental to their relationship: Boston – their first home together!
To begin our afternoon together, we ventured through the South End where cobblestone streets, brownstones and lanterns painted a quintessential New England backdrop, filled with urban charm. We jumped into an Uber to our second location, the Boston Public Garden and Commonwealth Avenue, to end the day before sunset. Fall foliage was still in full force and the brightly colored leaves created the most beautiful setting. Shades of yellow, orange, red and green surrounded us, along with the well-known (and well-fed!) Boston Common squirrels. It was a warm sunny day in the city, so the Public Garden was very crowded, but we found a quiet little spot along the pond. The session wouldn’t have been complete without some frolicking in the leaves!
Josh and Katie are planning an intimate destination wedding in Italy, next July!
