Memorial Day weekend was absolutely beautiful for a coastal New England engagement session! With all of the rain we’ve been having here in Boston we couldn’t believe how perfect the weather turned out – just in time for the long weekend and for Kaitlin and Korey’s photos.
They grew up on the south shore of Boston and have been dating ever since their high school prom. I love stories like that! In fact, Kaitlyn made my day when she texted me a photo collage following our shoot. She paired her and Korey’s prom photo with one of their new engagement photos for a “before and after”. All I have to say is… all the feels. It’s little moments like that that put a huge smile on my face, knowing how much sentimental value these galleries hold for my clients. I can’t wait to see a third photo added to Kaitlyn’s collage from their wedding day… and even more as their story continues!
They selected World’s End in Hingham, which was a first for me! I’d heard so many amazing things about it, and couldn’t believe I’d never been there once I saw how beautiful it was. As part of the Boston Harbor Islands National Park Area, it offers hiking trails, fields of wildflowers and rocky beaches. Such a pretty (and versatile!) spot for portraits. Needless to say, I can’t wait to go back!
Wedding planning has now officially kicked off for these two, and I’m so excited to be part of their wedding next year at The River Club in Scituate!
Love the natural images and clear emotion that the photographer has captured.
What a beautiful moment!
