A magical day was filled with love for Kevin and Taylor at their New Seabury Country Club wedding. We couldn’t have been luckier with a beautiful Spring day on Cape Cod.
Taylor and Kevin’s love story began like many modern-day love stories – through an online dating app. Their connection paved the way for the rest of their lives! Before each of my weddings, I send my couples a questionnaire so that I can get all the information I need about their wedding and learn even more about their relationship. Reading over theirs, I noticed that their commitment to being better for each other every day. My camera certainly captured this as it came to fruition. Smiling from ear to ear, they genuinely exemplify best friends.
A tour of the New Seabury Country Club appealed to Kevin and Taylor as they sought the perfect New Seabury wedding venue. As the ceremony was held outside with the expansive golf course and ocean view behind them, they loved the airiness of the clubhouse. The gazebo deck created an intimate and fun setting for their cocktail hour. New Seabury Country Club met all of their expectations for a wedding venue.
A jazz band played during the ceremony, which is the perfect sound to accompany a bride down the aisle. A close family member officiated the wedding ceremony. Their parents each gave their blessing at the beginning of the ceremony, as both families stood next to them.
Once their ceremony was over and these two were officially newlyweds, we explored the grounds in front of the clubhouse for photo opportunities. As a Cape Cod wedding photographer, we usually head to the beach for portraits, so trying new locations and getting creative was a nice change of pace. I loved the locations we used at New Seabury Country Club, as it has a beautiful fairway and a manmade pond with a waterfall.
Their reception was every bit of Cape Cod elegance but with a light, casual, fun atmosphere! As some of their friends and family gave speeches during the reception, I couldn’t help but smile throughout all of them. As always, these speeches provided enjoyable insight into the couple’s life. Kevin and Taylor shared their first dance to the song “I Love You” by B.B. King. The song makes them happy, and it is a timeless classic.
At the end of the evening, the couple chose to serve whoopie pies, chocolate and confetti-covered strawberries (and french fries)! I have a sweet tooth, so these little snacks were delightful. A late-night treat is always a welcome addition to your guest’s enjoyment.
Taylor, Kevin, their friends, and their family were all so kind throughout the wedding day. I was grateful to be their Cape Cod wedding photographer! Here are some of my favorite photos from their New Seabury Country Club wedding.
