On a crisp fall day, I had the pleasure of meeting Liz and Anthony for their Boston Public Garden engagement photos, and we also explored Back Bay. It’s always a fantastic time meeting my wedding couples at their engagement session so that we can each get familiar with one another. Anthony and Liz have already had their wedding at The Wianno Club; you can view it here! Their love story and Boston engagement photos are too cute not to share, so here we go.
The two met at Villanova while they were both students. She was hosting a party for her sorority, which happened to be taking place at one of Anthony’s friends’ houses. As soon as they started chatting, they immediately hit it off and connected.
After being together, they quickly realized they wanted to get engaged, but he wanted to propose somewhere special. The two decided to take a trip to California for Liz’s cousin’s wedding. Traveling to Napa a few days before the wedding, Anthony proposed at Silver Oak Vineyard. What a beautiful spot to propose!
When helping them choose a location for their engagement photos in Boston, they wanted to have a variety of areas between their engagement and wedding pictures. Since their wedding was on Cape Cod with a coastal atmosphere, they decided on Boston’s Back Bay. The urban environment is unique to them as they live in Manhattan, and Liz’s parents also live in this area of Boston.
The Boston Public Garden and Commonwealth Avenue are so picturesque when fall foliage season begins. Both of these locations are iconic for Boston engagement photos because of their beauty, but also they hold a lot of history.
I had such a fun evening exploring both of these areas with Anthony and Liz, and we truly got some fantastic photos with the beautiful golden light hitting the fall leaves perfectly. Since I am dually based in Boston and Cape Cod, it was a great fit for me to be their photographer! I couldn’t think of a more perfect combination of engagement photos in Boston and a beautiful wedding on Cape Cod.
