As my couples plan for their engagement sessions, I always get excited when they decide to include props… or puppies. This session had both! I was so excited when Maryellen told me that 1) she was bringing her dog, Benson and 2) she and her fiance’ Steve were bringing their skates to go ice skating!
Jacqueline and Matt’s engagement session brought us to the Beacon Hill neighborhood of Boston, where they first lived together. Charming is an understatement for these quaint little streets. Cobblestones, row houses, antique lanterns, classic holiday decor… I could go on. I was so excited to visit Acorn Street for the first time – one of, if not THE most photographed street in the city.
Nicole and Geoff traveled all the way from Colorado to exchange their vows on the shoreline of Cape Cod. Having previously worked on Nantucket, Nicole envisioned a coastal New England beach ceremony, naturally followed by a quintessential lobster bake. The rainy weekend weather cleared just in time for the ceremony, and a thick fog bank rolled into Wellfleet across Cape Cod Bay. It was actually quite pretty – and so typical for summer on the Cape!
This beautifully boho styled wedding was absolutely stunning with a burgundy, blush, gold and sage color palette. Held at Rustic Rose Barn Weddings in the Berkshires of Massachusetts, the decor included hand-crafted macrame, dream catchers and feathers.
Alex and John exchanged vows in the sand, overlooking Sesuit Harbor in East Dennis, Massachusetts. The two met as college students while attending the University of Colorado, and with strong family ties back on the east coast, returned to the Cape for their wedding celebration with their closest family members and friends…
