When love and breathtaking views blend together, a truly remarkable wedding day results. Kathryn and Nick’s Mountain View Grand wedding perfectly captured the essence of romance amidst the stunning backdrop of the White Mountains. From personalized details to heartfelt moments, their special day was nothing short of extraordinary.
These two met while attending Providence College. After they graduated, both of them moved to the Boston area and often hung out with some mutual friends who were dating then, and now they’re married. Nick proposed while they were enjoying dinner in Newburyport, so it was perfectly fitting that we did their engagement photos in the quaint little town.

This wedding venue in New Hampshire has incredible mountain views. Kathryn and Nick enjoy hiking in the White Mountains with their precious pup, Pemi. They named their dog after many things in that area. With 400 acres of land, the photo opportunities are endless. My husband and I also spend a lot of time hiking and skiing in New Hampshire. As a New Hampshire wedding photographer, I love when the landscape is expansive. From the mountain tops and peaks to the garden ceremony space, I was over the moon when it came to photos!
The attention to detail throughout Kathryn and Nick’s wedding day was breathtaking. As I started the day out styling their details, they provided me with the sweetest ring box with the couple’s last name initial. This personalized touch added a layer of sentimentality to the already significant exchange of rings. Kathryn’s wedding dress was a vision of elegance and grace. The dress had a statement bow that was delicately placed on the back of the gown. No wedding celebration is complete without a delicious and visually stunning cake. The detailing on their four-tiered cake left their guests in awe.
One thing that I strive for on wedding days is to be efficient and accommodating to my couples and their wedding party, family, and guests. Nick and Kathryn’s wedding day was on a very sunny and hot day. When it came time for their photos, we had people alternating between the shade and getting in the air conditioning when they could. They were all troopers and still had the best vibe and focused all their love on the couple.
It was so touching that they chose to have Kathryn’s grandfather deliver a speech during the ceremony. He really reminded me a lot of my grandfather. I learned that Kathryn is part Lebanese, as am I, and we both call our grandfathers “Giddo” which means grandfather in Arabic. I am very close to my grandparents and respect my elders, so it was nice seeing him deliver such genuine words of wisdom to the newlyweds.
The celebration of the newlyweds created memories that will last a lifetime. Seeing all of their loved ones in one place together was joyful. I adored getting to photograph this special day for them. Enjoy scrolling through some of my favorites from their Mountain View Grand wedding!
